Silverlight SEO (Search Engine Optimisation / Optimization) - Getting Silverlight.Net into the Search Engines
Silverlight SEO .NET will be coming slowly (most likely after Silverlight.Net 2.0 Beta 1 has been released)
Silverlight SEO .NET will try to collect links, articles, blog posts and samples about how to (1) create Silverlight applications and sites that can be indexed by search engines (2) make your site/application more accessible (in part achieved through point 1).
In the meantime if you have any blog postings, articles, or links regarding SEO/Accessibility and Silverlight please submit them (for now) via the following contact form : http://weblogs.asp.net/jmandia/contact.aspx
This initial page is a test to see if Silverlight SEO can be indexed without issue. We are using html as the content container (which allows the contents to be printed and indexed) and simply using Silverlight to present the content (similar to CSS). There is no hidden text (what is in html is displayed) and this gives the option of adding non-silverlight support easily (via css styling).
